How to Use the End of the Year to Set Your Business Up for a Strong 2026

The end of the year is always a weird time in this industry.

Inbox engagement dips, launches slow down, and everything feels a little quieter than usual. Historically, December has been my slow season too, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing worth focusing on. In fact, this is one of the most strategic times of the year to work on your business instead of in it.

While everyone else is mentally checked out, you can be laying the groundwork that makes stepping into 2026 feel calmer, clearer, and far less chaotic. Below are a few high-impact ways to use the end of the year intentionally, especially if you’re a service provider, creative, or digital product business owner.

Start (or Restart) Your Email List Before the New Year

That email list you’ve been putting on the back burner? Now is the ideal time to bring it back to life.

If you already started an email list but stopped sending emails, this season is perfect for prepping five to six emails you can send consistently in the new year. You don’t need a massive launch or complicated funnel, just a plan that helps you show up regularly without scrambling every week.

If you haven’t started an email list at all, consider this your sign. Email marketing is still one of the highest-converting, most reliable ways to connect with your audience and sell without burning out on social media.

My platform of choice is Flodesk, and pairing that with a 1:1 strategy session gives you clarity on what to send, when to send it, and how to write emails that actually sound like you. Getting this set up now means January doesn’t feel like a frantic reset.

This holiday season doesn't have to be about pushing yourself harder or forcing productivity

Reconnect With Your Brand Voice (and Stop Sounding Like Everyone Else)

If you’ve been relying heavily on ChatGPT to write your copy and something feels off, you’re not imagining it.

So many clients come to me because they’ve been using AI tools for their website copy, emails, or captions, and while it technically works, it also makes them sound like everyone else. As a copywriter, I can tell almost immediately when someone is letting a robot do all the talking.

Tools like ChatGPT can be helpful, but when used without intention, they actually pull you further away from your unique brand voice. And your brand voice is the thing that attracts aligned clients, builds trust, and makes people want to work with you specifically.

The end of the year is a great time to slow down and reconnect with how you actually want to sound online. If you want help with this, send me a DM and I’ll share a free brand voice resource to get you started.

Prepare Your Sales Page If You’re Launching in 2026

Planning to launch a digital course, group program, or new offer in 2026? One of the smartest things you can do right now is get your sales page ready ahead of time.

Your sales page is one of the most important marketing assets you’ll use during a launch. When it’s done well, it carries so much of the heavy lifting, explaining your offer clearly, building trust, and guiding someone to say yes without feeling pressured.

Getting ahead on your sales page copy and design now makes your future launch feel smoother and far less stressful. Instead of rushing to write under pressure, you can refine, test, and tweak with a clear head.

If you need help with launch strategy, sales page copy, or design, this is exactly the kind of work I love supporting clients with.

Strengthen Your Product Suite and Fill the Gaps

One of the first things I look at when working with any client is their product suite.

More often than not, there are gaps that are quietly costing them sales. Maybe there’s no entry point for new people, or no next step for clients who are ready to go deeper.

As a general rule of thumb, I recommend having:
A free offer

A low-ticket offer

A mid-ticket offer

A high-ticket offer

Each piece serves a purpose, helping guide your audience through your ecosystem instead of leaving them unsure where to go next. If you’re missing one of these, now is a great time to brainstorm and build it out before the new year begins.

If you want help strategizing a new offer or refining your product suite, send me a DM and we’ll map it out together.

Set Yourself Up for a Lighter, Clearer 2026

The holiday season doesn’t have to be about pushing yourself harder or forcing productivity. Sometimes the most powerful move is using the quieter moments to prepare intentionally.
